Royal Burgundy Bush Green Bean

55 days. The compact bush grows 15-20" and is great for containers.

  • Purple Color - The vibrant purple of these beans make them easy to find and pick, but they will turn deep green when cooked,
  • Compact Bush - Royal Burgundy is a small bush-style bean that does well in containers. Each bush will produce a plethora of 4-6" tender stringless pods.
  • Light Needs: Full Sun
  • Soil Temp: 60-70 Degrees F.
  • Planting Depth: 1"
  • Germination: 8-10 Days
  • Plant Royal Burgundy beans directly outdoors once soil has warmed to at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Space plants 8 to 12 inches apart in moist but well-drained soil. Once beans begin developing, pick every 2 or 3 days to prolong the harvest. Plants are resistant to Common Bean Mosaic Virus.
