This lettuce is a mix of ten different varieties of loose-leaf lettuce or "cut and come again" lettuce. This means that you can pick individual leaves and the lettuce plant will continue to grow.
Sow seeds. once the last frost date has passed, thinly in the row, covering seeds with a thin layer of compost and re-sowing every two to three weeks to keep a continuous supply of lettuce. Make sure to compost, and water well. The salad leaves should start to grow fairly quickly and after one month will be large enough to pick a few leaves. If the seeds have been sown too thickly, you can pull out some of the plants to make more room for the others.
